Galanto's Journey

By empowering recovery, Galanto reshapes rehabilitation with transformative tech & care.

2015
  • Chandan began his PhD research on developing a virtual hand rehabilitation system aimed at helping patients with hand disabilities perform exercises virtually and track their recovery progress.
2020
  • The lab prototype of the hand rehabilitation system was developed at IIT Gandhinagar by Chandan with Prof. Arup Lal Chakraborty.
2021
  • Galanto was founded by IIT Gandhinagar alumni Dr. Chandan Kumar Jha and Ms. Rupsha Mukherjee, with the goal of advancing rehabilitation technology.
2022
  • The first customer-focused prototype of the RehabRelive Active Glove was developed, marking a significant step forward.
2023
  • The MVP of the RehabRelive Active Glove was completed, and a clinical study on its efficacy was published, demonstrating its potential in patient recovery.
2024
  • The RehabRelive Active Glove became commercially available across India. Additionally, prototypes for the RehabRelive Active Shoulder and RehabRelive Active Grip were developed, expanding the product line.
