Galanto's Journey

By empowering recovery, Galanto reshapes rehabilitation with transformative tech & care.

2015

Chandan began his PhD research on developing a virtual hand rehabilitation system aimed at helping patients with hand disabilities perform exercises virtually and track their recovery progress.

2020

The lab prototype of the hand rehabilitation system was developed at IIT Gandhinagar by Chandan with Prof. Arup Lal Chakraborty.

2021

Galanto was founded by IIT Gandhinagar alumni Dr. Chandan Kumar Jha and Ms. Rupsha Mukherjee, with the goal of advancing rehabilitation technology.

2022

The first customer-focused prototype of the RehabRelive Active Glove was developed, marking a significant step forward.

2023

The MVP of the RehabRelive Active Glove was completed, and a clinical study on its efficacy was published, demonstrating its potential in patient recovery.

2024

The RehabRelive Active Glove became commercially available across India. Additionally, prototypes for the RehabRelive Active Shoulder and RehabRelive Active Grip were developed, expanding the product line.
